Speech-Language Pathology Services
ExpressAbility offers comprehensive Speech-Language Pathology (SLP) services for children in the areas of: speech, language, literacy and augmentative and alternative communication (AAC). ExpressAbility is located in Waterford, Ontario, although in-home services throughout Norfolk County and surrounding areas are also available.

Assessments and interventions focus on using a strengths-based approach that validates and embraces individual differences and presumes competence.

Therapy goals are developed and addressed through ongoing collaboration with clients and their caregivers, with a focus on teaching meaningful and functional communication skills within a supportive and child-directed environment.

ABOUT
Melissa Dumoulin
ExpressAbility is owned and operated by Melissa Dumoulin, a registered Speech-Language Pathologist with over 15 years' experience working with children of all ages and abilities.
Melissa has extensive knowledge and experience in the evaluation and treatment of speech sound disorders, language disorders, literacy development and augmentative and alternative communication (AAC).
Melissa is passionate about supporting individuals with complex communication needs, including those with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) and developmental disabilities.
Melissa believes in a collaborative, neurodiversity-affirming approach to therapy and values working closely with families, educators and other healthcare professionals to achieve the best possible outcomes for clients.
